Affordable and festive appetizer, side dish and dessert ideas for your holiday parties made easy by ALDI.
Disclosure: I was compensated by ALDI to write this post. Opinions are my own plus I’m an ALDI fan!
If you need one more appetizer, side dish and/or dessert for your Christmas or New Year’s Eve celebrations that are affordable, better-for-you and memorable, it’s ALDI to the rescue!
In the past, I’ve shared my love for ALDI (especially after one opened up less than 2 miles from my house.) After visiting their headquarters in Batavia, Illinois last year and tasting many of their high-quality, award-winning products (for budget-friendly prices no less), I was hooked. So, I was on board when they asked if I’d do a Better-For-You, Affordable Holiday Recipes segment on a local Philly TV channel.#sponsored 3 Affordable Holiday Appetizer, Side Dish + Dessert Recipes via @ALDIUSA @tspbasil #ALDILove Click To Tweet
And here are the recipes that I highlighted – hopefully at least one of them helps you round out your party menu this season (and you won’t believe how affordable they are using ALDI products!)

Total cost per recipe: $2.84
Cost per serving: 24 cents

And when you are shopping at ALDI this season, look for these features:
SimplyNature – ALDI’s exclusive brand featuring close to 200 products from cereal to salad. All SimplyNature items are free of artificial colors, flavors or unnecessary enhancers. Every product is either organic or verified by the non-GMO project.
Organic produce – ALDI continues to expand their offering of affordable, organic produce. Look for the “organic” seal on the front of the packaging.
ALDI Finds– These premium food and household products are only in stores for a limited time and keep shoppers coming back to see what’s new – another great resource for holiday shopping without breaking the bank.
Not sure where there’s an ALDI near you? Check out their store locator and if there’s not currently a store in your area, there may be very soon. ALDI plans to expand to 2,500 stores nationwide by the end of 2022 making it the 3rd largest grocery store by count in the U.S.
