Fresh fruit, a drizzle of dark chocolate and some freezer time is all it takes to make these healthy dessert kabobs – perfect for a cookout.
12 pineapple chunks
12 banana chunks
24 seedless red or green grapes
8ounces of dark chocolate
Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
Using six 12-inch wooden skewers, thread the fruit onto the skewers following this pattern: 1 pineapple chunk, 1 banana chunk, 2 grapes, 2 blueberries, 1 pineapple chunk, 1 banana chunk, 2 grapes, and 2 blueberries. Repeat with the remaining skewers and place on baking sheet.
In a medium, microwave-safe bowl, heat the chocolate for 1 minute in the microwave. Stir until the chocolate is completely melted.
Spoon the melted chocolate into a small plastic sandwich bag. Twist the bag closed right above the chocolate and snip the corner off the bag with scissors. Squeeze the bag to drizzle lines of chocolate over the kabobs.
Place the sheet in the freezer and chill for 20 minutes before serving.
