Blue hyssop is an healing herb that adds a flavorful punch to homemade herbal lemonade. Swap in other herbs like basil, thyme or mint in your summer drinks.
- 8 cups water
- 4 tablespoons chopped blue hyssop (or another herb like basil, mint, thyme or tarragon)
- 1/3 cup honey
- Juice from 6 lemons
- Bring water to a boil then add blue hyssop and honey. Cover with a lid and steep for 15 minutes. Strain the herbs out and discard.
- Mix steeped water with lemon juice and chill in refrigerator until serving (at least 2 hours.)
