Rosemary & Thyme Shortbread for Online Bake Sale for the Philippines
When I heard about this super fundraiser being hosted by Tina @ Pinay in Texas Cooking Corner , I knew I was in. Pinay is originally from the Philippines and while she is fortunate that her family and friends are safe, her home country is suffering tremendously from the effects of the storm. She knew she had to do something and turned to the food blogging community to help in her efforts.
For today only – November 25 -you can visit the Online Bake Sale for the Philippines and bid on an amazing variety of over 40 baked goods and cookbooks donated by fellow food bloggers. All funds will go to Sagip Kapamilya (which means “rescue family” in Filipino), an Filipino emergency humanitarian assistance program which provides food and non-food relief to those affected by disasters.
I’m donating two dozen of one of my favorite holiday cookies: Rosemary & Thyme Shortbread – buttery, sweet and bursting with fresh herb flavor.
So, check out all the goodies up for auction and consider putting a bid for a tasty treat or a terrific holiday gift. Tina is also taking straight up donations, too.
Thanks in advance for your support!
